Phoenix, AZ – Charlie Kirk, President and Founder of Turning Point USA was fatally shot while hosting an event on a college campus in Utah. We unequivocally condemn political violence. Period. Violence against political figures or in response to political speech is never justified. One of the fundamental freedoms that defines the American experience is the freedom to speak. Nobody deserves to be shot for expressing their beliefs. Everyone, regardless of political ideology, must condemn this senseless attack. Whether it’s a political activist, young school children, or religious followers, thoughts and prayers are not the answer to gun violence.
